Hall’s Apple Farm to Cease Operations

To our cherished customers,

Lockport, NY – August 26, 2025 – It is with sadness we announce the closing of Hall’s Apple Farm. Our family farm has served the community for well over a century, and we are grateful for all of the wonderful and supportive patrons who’ve visited us over the years. From apples and cider to chocolates and pies, we’ve striven to produce wholesome and delicious foods for our customers. We are honored that so many of you have chosen to use our products for your special occasions and family gatherings.

Unfortunately, the challenges of running a small farm market and bakery in this economic climate have caught up with us. Many factors have contributed to the increased cost of doing business, but most notable are the rising costs of ingredients and exorbitant power bills, which have made it difficult for us to turn a profit. Producing high quality pies and baked goods isn’t conducive to cost cutting, so instead of compromising the quality of our products, we’re choosing to hang up the apron.

Thank you to everyone who has worked for us and supported this family business. We’ll miss seeing your faces and hearing your stories, but hope that you’ll remember our family and our traditions fondly.

  • Our standard size pies are 10 inches, and serve 6-8 people.

    We also offer a smaller, 6 inch pie.

  • We make a selection of fresh pies daily, but to guarantee you get the kind of pie you desire, it’s best to call ahead and order.

  • We offer both.

    Our standard size pies are available fresh and frozen, with the exception of cream pies. We don’t freeze our cream pies.

    With frozen pies, we offer them unbaked and already baked. Unbaked pies will need to be fully baked at home, and the already baked pies just need to be defrosted.

    Our 6-inch pies are only available fresh.
